The QSI Shenzhen Chess Club was founded in August 2025 by Chunhao, a passionate student leader with a strong vision for growing competitive and recreational chess within the school community. Recognizing the strategic, academic, and social benefits of the game, he established the club as a space where players of all levels could challenge themselves and learn from one another.

Located at QSI International School of Shenzhen, the club quickly became a hub for students eager to develop their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship. From casual lunchtime matches to structured training sessions and inter-school competitions, the club encourages both friendly play and competitive excellence.
